Part of Newcastle University and opening September 2017, the Urban Sciences building will be part of a living laboratory, leading international research into urban sustainability.

A 750 seat auditorium conference centre, due to open in September 2019, offering flexible spaces, exhibition space and a café.

NIDSI - Thumbnail

Due to open in February 2020 the centre will develop skills, ideas and resources needed to realise the potential of big data and enable businesses to extract value from smart data and increase their competitiveness.

National Innovation Centre for Ageing

Leading the UK’s efforts to improve health and well-being of older people, developing new technologies and services to support the ageing population. The centre is set to open in February 2020.
